My name is Martin Smith, I’m 43, I live in the UK with my Wife and Daughters and I work as an IT Consultant and Developer. I’ve worked in IT for 25 years and have wide ranging skills from programming to project management. My interests include new technologies, productivity and photography.

    I recently wrote up a few blog posts on named tokenization in SQL [ ” Hello {FirstName}.” instead of “Hello {0}” ]. I’ve seen solutions like this for Client Side and middle ware, but nothing in straight SQL.

    I’m not sure if you’d be interested, but was hoping to run the solution by you and get some feedback. At worst, maybe it will spark and idea in that large SQL brain of yours.
